Referred Pain

0409601001554838232.jpgLets talk from personal experience here. Before I really knew the importance of chiropractic and nutritional therapy testing for my health and body I just thought  "if it hurts here than this must be the source or cause of the pain." Boy was i wrong!

It all started with this pain in the middle slightly to the right position in my back. It ranged from dull to achy till one day the pain was over the top. I was also NOT treating my body the best... Fatty foods, Sodas and the lack of non fried vegetables. The doctor pointed out while testing me that my body was showing weak in the areas of my gallbladder and liver... Go figure the abuse of my body with my poor diet would be the source of my back pain. He explained this to me as "Referred Pain" According to : www.medicinenet.com

Medical Definition of Referred pain

Referred pain: Pain felt at a site other than where the cause is situated. An example is the pain from the pancreas, which is felt in the back. Pain in internal organs is often referred to sites distant from them. Mechanisms of referred pain are complex, and are related to innervations of organs by afferent pain fibers which following similar paths as the sympathetic nervous system.

This finally made sense to me. Now I had an answer as to what was causing my pain and discomfort. All I needed to do now was to clean up my diet and repair my body. I have been eating the right balanced nutrition and the RIGHT fats along with supplements in my diet and my pain has subsided.
